Ken & Syble Self in Aruba
For over 25 years Ken and Syble Self have traveled around the world. They have seen all 50 states and have enjoyed visiting over 35 different countries -- including sites from Stonehenge in England to Istanbul's Hagia Sofia to Bejing's Forbidden City from the Vatican to Mexico's Mayan temples. Along the way they enjoyed many different types of tours and tour styles -- from Paris sightseeing in a doubledecker bus to Bankok's river cruises to Kenyan safaris to the Masai Mara.
They now combine the best of their world-wide tour experiences with their local Oregon living expertise to provide a high quality personal tour experience to visitors to the Willamette Valley. Ken has provided tours for visitors from Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and many other countries. Ken, the primary tour driver and guide, is a native of Florida, is a history buff and a tour guide at the Oregon State Capitol. Syble is an native Oregonian with a little Indian heritage, and was born in a farmhouse in rural Sheridan, Oregon. Between the two of them they have over 90 years experience living in the Willamette Valley. It would be our pleasure to share the cultural and historical sites in Salem, Albany and Corvallis with visitors to this beautiful state. There are so many things to see and experience from the quaint historical beginnings to the latest university and technology news.
We focus in smaller, personalized tour groups of 7 or less people. Our primary tour vehicle is a new "top safety rated" air conditioned Sienna minivan.
